Abstract

ABSTRACT

Gending rare is a song for children that helps build their personality, improves their memory, and contains many positive moral values and cultural elements. Updates in role playing learning approaches are needed to increase children's learning motivation and their motor talents. By applying the Gending Rare-based role playing model, children can become more active, creative, and motivated to interact with teachers and other children. The purpose of this study was to find out how the learning motivation and motor talents of children in kindergarten cluster III Buleleng District differed from children who used the Role Playing method compared to children who used conventional methods. The total sample size of the study was 66 of the current population, and the study was designed by the design of the PostTest Control Group. Maslow's motor aptitude theory and learning motivation theory were used in this study. Analysis prerequisite test and hypothesis test are two stages of data collection carried out. The results of the study found that first, there was a difference in learning motivation between children who followed the Role Playing method and children who followed conventional methods in kindergarten children of Cluster III Buleleng District with F = 57.869 and P <0.05 values. Second, there are differences in motor talents between children who follow the Gending Rare-based Role Playing method and children who follow conventional methods in kindergarten children of Cluster III Buleleng District with F = 7.193 and P<0.05 values. Third, there are silmutant differences in learning motivation and motor talent between children who follow the Role Playing method and children who follow conventional methods in kindergarten children of Cluster III Buleleng District with F = 29.039 and P <0.05 values.
