This study aims to explore the implementation of the Catur Paramita teachings comprising Maitri (loving-kindness), Karuna (compassion), Mudita (sympathetic joy), and Upeksha (equanimity) in Hindu Religious Education (PAH) and its impact on students' character development. The research seeks to address the gap in integrating these values into the curriculum, focusing on how they can foster empathy, tolerance, emotional balance, and moral awareness among students. The study is motivated by the need to strengthen moral and ethical foundations in education, particularly in the face of globalization and technological advancements that challenge traditional values.

The research employs a qualitative descriptive-analytical approach, utilizing data collection methods such as classroom observations, in-depth interviews with teachers, students, and school principals, and document analysis, including lesson plans and PAH textbooks. Data analysis follows the Miles and Huberman model, involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Thematic analysis is also used to identify key themes related to the application of Catur Paramita values in education. Triangulation of sources and methods ensures the validity and reliability of the findings.

The results indicate that the integration of Catur Paramita teachings through project-based learning, role-playing, group discussions, and reflective practices significantly enhances students' empathy, tolerance, emotional balance, and moral awareness. The study also highlights challenges such as limited teacher understanding of innovative teaching methods, time constraints in the curriculum, and lack of parental and community support. Solutions proposed include teacher training, curriculum integration, and fostering collaboration between schools, parents, and the community. The findings underscore the importance of holistic and inclusive approaches in embedding Catur Paramita values in PAH to cultivate well-rounded, empathetic, and morally conscious students.
