Peningkatan Kemampuan Pengelolaan Rekognisi Pembelajaran Lampau Bagi Perguruan Tinggi Swasta Di Kediri

Abstract

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is an approach that enables individuals to gain formal acknowledgment of competencies acquired through non-formal education. For higher education institutions, particularly private universities, effective RPL management can broaden access to education for a wider population. However, limited understanding and resources often hinder the optimal implementation of RPL in private institutions. This community service activity aims to enhance the RPL management capacity of private universities in Kediri through comprehensive training and mentoring. Survey results indicate that private university managers require further training in technical, managerial, and promotional aspects of RPL. Additionally, there is a need to integrate nationalistic values into the RPL program to strengthen students' character. Through a holistic approach, this activity provides recommendations for additional training in assessment methods, RPL promotion, and policy implementation based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The outcomes of this activity are expected to support private universities in improving the quality of RPL services, contributing to more inclusive and high-quality access to higher education.
