Abstract

ABSTRACT

The approach used in this research is phenomenological, with data collection techniques in the form of involved observation, interviews, documentation and document recording, with data analysis techniques namely descriptive qualitative and data validity checking techniques in the form of data triangulation techniques. The results of the research are the values of religious moderation that can be extracted from the mejenukan tradition in the plurality of communities in Tegallinggah Village (1) respecting differences (2) Practicing religious teachings, (3) Attitudes of tolerance, (4) The value of tolerance has been successfully instilled periodically from one generation to the next, (5) The value of respecting brotherhood. The community's response to the value of religious moderation in the tradition of saturating the plurality of the community in Tegallinggah Village is (1) commitment to living together, (2) Rejecting violence, (3) Accommodating to local culture. The process of internalizing the value of religious moderation in the perspective of Hindu religious education for the younger generation in Tegallinggah Village (1) Religious education as a process of internalizing religious moderation from two beliefs which (2) Social and community ethics education as internalizing religious moderation religious moderation, (3) that in Hindu religious education needs to instill a moderate attitude that can be used as the basis for our behavior in daily life, (4) Value Transaction Process in Religious Moderation, (4) Value Internalization Process in Religious Moderation.
